CES 2026: Tens of thousands of people have arrived in Las Vegas for the biggest tech event of the year. The Consumer Electronics Show CES has taken over the city, with companies of all sizes showing off ideas and products that offer a peek into the future of technology.

Not everything on display will actually make it to store shelves. Some brands use CES to officially launch products that will arrive later this year, while others showcase concepts that may never be seen again once the event wraps up.

Throughout the week, I will be exploring the show floor to track down the most impressive and unusual tech on display. This page will be updated regularly with the products that truly made me say “wow”, so keep checking back for the latest highlights from CES 2026.

LG CLOiD Humanoid Robot

Without question, the most impressive thing I have seen so far at CES is LG’s humanoid robot designed to handle everyday household tasks. LG demonstrated how the CLOiD robot can fold clothes, prepare breakfast, guide you through workout routines like a personal trainer, and even pick up laundry hampers so robot vacuums can clean every corner of the room.

Will it ever actually reach homes? That is still unclear. At CES, CLOiD was operating in a highly controlled and fully connected environment, and it seems a completely smart home setup would be needed for it to function properly. Even so, it offers a fascinating look at where home robotics could be headed.

Samsung Galaxy Z Tri Fold

First revealed in December last year, the Samsung Galaxy Tri Fold is the company’s boldest foldable phone yet. It has already launched in South Korea and is expected to arrive in the US in early 2026. There is no confirmed UK release date at the moment.

Watching the device fold twice in person was a true “see-it-to-believe-it”. The display expands from a 6.5in smartphone into a full 10in tablet, all without visible creases or awkward bending.

Roborock Saros Rover Robot Vacuum

Robot vacuums have already figured out how to cross thresholds and climb small steps, but Roborock is taking things much further. Its Saros Rover robot vacuum can actually climb stairs.

At CES, I watched the robot use its articulated legs to scale each step, clean it thoroughly, and then move up to the next one. There was one issue, though. It could not make its way back down and had to slide down a ramp instead.

This suggests it is not quite ready for everyday homes just yet. With so many variations in staircase size and design, there are still too many challenges to solve. Still, seeing it in action was undeniably impressive.

Stareep Smart Mattress

Sleep-focused tech is everywhere at CES, but Stareep is taking a different approach with an AI-powered smart mattress that actively adjusts to help you sleep better.

The mattress and adjustable base can change firmness, position, and support in real time based on how you move during the night. Each side of the bed can be customised separately, so couples no longer have to compromise on comfort.

The product is set to launch soon in China, with plans to enter the US market later this year. There is no confirmation of a UK release, and it is expected to be “eye-wateringly expensive”.

Eli Health Hormometer Testosterone Test

Tracking hormone levels is becoming easier than ever. Eli Health’s hormometer is an at home testing kit that uses a saliva sample and your smartphone to measure hormone levels, delivering results in around 20 minutes.

You simply place a thin test stick in your mouth for about a minute, then scan it using the app. The phone’s camera analyses the results. Originally focused on cortisol, the hormometer can now also test testosterone and progesterone levels. In the US, testosterone tests are already available for pre-order and are expected to ship in early 2026.
