Anker MagGo 10K for Apple Watch Review: Power banks make life easier by saving you from hunting for the right cable. I’ve used plenty for phones, but the Anker MagGo 10K is my first one designed just for the Apple Watch.
At first glance, it’s like any other power bank: USB-C charging, a carry handle, and an LED display. The difference is the flip-out MagGo pad on the front, made for wirelessly charging your watch. With a 10,000 mAh battery, built-in USB-C cable, and eco-friendly materials (75% recycled), it looks like a well-rounded portable charger. Let’s see how it holds up.
Anker MagGo 10K for Apple Watch – Specs and Price
-
Capacity: 10,000 mAh
-
Output: 5W wireless, 35W wired
-
Size/Weight: 3.74 × 2.01 × 1.28 in, 245 g
-
Price: $89.99/£91.98
That price is steep for a power bank with limited ports, so it’s really aimed at Apple Watch fans. Anker’s website sometimes offers discounts, though.
Design
The magnetic flip-out pad is the star feature, letting you charge your watch flat or propped up. The hinge is sturdy but shouldn’t be forced past 90 degrees. The built-in USB-C cable doubles as a neat carry handle, and the LED display blends nicely into the design.
There’s just one USB-C port, which works fine but leaves USB-A users needing an adapter. The ribbed sides add grip, and the plastic case feels tough enough for everyday use.
Performance
The 10,000 mAh battery will almost fully charge an iPhone 16 Pro twice, but you’ll find yourself topping up the bank fairly often. Where it shines is with the Apple Watch, giving around nine full charges for the Series 10 – enough for a week.
It’s small, portable, and fast enough, but the capacity feels limiting if you plan to charge both your phone and watch regularly.
Verdict
The Anker MagGo 10K is a clever, well-made power bank that Apple Watch owners will appreciate. The wireless pad is handy, the design is thoughtful, and it’s easy to carry. That said, the high price and modest capacity mean it’s not the best option if you want something versatile.
If your main need is wirelessly charging your Apple Watch on the go, it’s a great fit. Otherwise, you’ll likely find better value elsewhere.
