Nothing Phone 3 with 50MP Periscope Camera, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Launching July 1
Launch Countries: US, India, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Japan
What’s New in the Camera: 50MP Periscope Lens Confirmed

Nothing has officially revealed that Phone 3 will come with a 50-megapixel periscope camera. This lens is made for users who need better zoom and detail, especially creators who focus on photo and video content.
The brand shared sample images online that show off its zoom and telemacro capabilities, which were missing in the previous models. Compared to Nothing Phone 2, this is a major step forward.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Brings Big Performance Gains
Phone 3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm. This processor brings up to 49% better GPU performance compared to the 8s Gen 3, and up to 88% better performance than Phone 2’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.
These improvements have been confirmed by Nothing cofounder and India head, Akis Evangelidis.
Glyph Redesign: A New Layout for a Familiar Feature
The glyph lighting system now features a matrix layout near the camera area. The exact use hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s expected to offer new interaction styles.

Same Transparent Style, With a New Feel

Nothing keeps the transparent back design but removes or redesigns the previous signature LED strips. The screws and internal parts remain visible, keeping the brand’s unique visual identity intact.
This shift may lead to a more minimal and refined look, but could also change how users interact with the rear glyph interface. For fans of Nothing’s original visual identity, it marks an evolution that balances familiarity with progress.
Also Launching: Nothing Headphone 1

On the same day, Nothing will also launch its first over-ear headphone: Nothing Headphone 1. This is the brand’s next step in expanding its product line beyond smartphones. While specific features are yet to be announced, it is likely to offer premium audio, a minimal design in line with Nothing’s signature aesthetic, and smart integration with other Nothing products.
- Product Category: Over-Ear Headphones
- Expected Features: High-fidelity audio, ANC, long battery life
- Design Language: Transparent minimal style, similar to Phone series
- Expected Integration: Seamless sync with other Nothing devices
A Phone Made for Real Needs, Not Just Hype
