Motorola Razr 50D is all set to hit the Japanese market next week. As per the listings of the Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo’s website, clamshell-style foldable is similar to the Motorola Razr 50.
While Motorola has not confirmed anything official, the listing has revealed the details regarding the launch date, specifications, and even prices of the upcoming Razr 50D.
Motorola Razr 50D is listed with 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED inner display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and a 3.6-inch outer screen.
For optics, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. It has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter as well.
The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Apart from that, the device will also carry IPX8 certification for water resistance. In addition, it will also feature Dolby Atmos support and stereo speakers.
In terms of design, the Razr 50D measures 171 x 74 x 7.3 mm and weighs 187 grams, making it a sleek and portable foldable phone, perfect for those who value both functionality and style.
The Motorola Razr 50D is listed with a 4,000mAh battery.

- Display: The Motorola Razr 50D will sport a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED inner display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. There’s also a 3.6-inch large outer screen.
- Battery: The phone packs a 4000mAh battery. In comparison, the model sold in India has a 4,200mAh cell.
- Cameras: The new Motorola foldable features a 50MP main camera and a 13MP secondary lens. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies.
- Memory: The phone will be sold in a single 8GB + 256GB storage model.
- Others: Wireless charging, IPX8 water resistance rating, Hi-Res audio, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Style sync AI function that automatically generates wallpapers from the photos taken. The handset measures 171 X 74 X 7.3 and weighs 187 grams.
Moto Razr 50D: Launch Details
As per the listing, Moto Razr 50D will be launched on December 19 with a price tag of JPY 1,14,950.
The handset is currently up for pre-booking, and customers will be able to pre-purchase it starting on December 17.
There is also a scheme for interested customers called the ‘Anytime Kaedoki Program,’ a flexible payment option allowing buyers to pay in monthly installments of 2587 Japanese Yen for 23 months.
Furthermore, if the device is returned in good condition, the price will be reduced to JPY 59,501 Yen. However, if the customer chooses to keep the phone, the remaining balance of JPY 55,440 will be extended through further installments.

In addition to the phone itself, Motorola will also release two new protective cases: one with a vegan leather finish and neck strap, and another hard case made from Tritan material, providing customers with additional options to personalize and protect their device.
The Moto Razr 50D will be available in White Marble color and the design is identical to Moto Razr 50.
As of now, there is no word regarding the launch of the device in the global market.
