Shokz Unveils Sport-Ready Headphones With Vibrant, Powerful Sound

Shokz, the sports-focused audio brand, has introduced two new open-ear headphones: the OpenFit 2 and OpenFit 2 Plus.

These new models are part of the OpenFit 2 lineup and are built to offer a powerful sound experience during workouts. Both headphones use Shokz’s ‘DualBoost Technology’, which combines a bass-focused driver with a high-frequency unit to deliver deep bass, clear mids, and sharp highs.

Introducing Shokz’s New OpenFit 2 Series

The new headphones also feature Shokz’s ‘OpenBass’ technology, which boosts deep bass vibrations directly to your ear, providing a rich and powerful sound experience, according to the US brand.

Both models have an open-ear design, meaning the speakers sit outside your ear instead of inside the ear canal. They come with hooks that go over the ears to keep them secure during workouts or intense activities. If you imagine an open-ear version of the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, that’s a close comparison.

Both new models in the OpenFit 2 series come with an improved control system that uses both physical buttons and touch controls. This helps users have a more accurate and easy way to change the volume, skip songs, and answer calls with just a press of a button.

They are also IP55 rated, which means sweat and rain won’t be a problem when you’re out exercising.

They won’t let you down as you go from meters to miles either. The OpenFit 2 and OpenFit 2 Plus can give you up to 11 hours of listening on one charge and 48 hours if you use the charging case. Plus, a quick 10-minute charge gives you two hours of listening time, perfect if you forgot to charge before heading out.

As the top model, the Shokz OpenFit 2 Plus has extra features that the cheaper versions don’t have. The Plus includes Dolby Audio spatial sound and supports wireless charging with a compatible charger.
