Garmin Venu X1 Smartwatch: A Simple Feature That Makes It Stand Out

What is Garmin Venu X1 and why is it different?

Garmin has launched its new smartwatch Venu X1, which is very different from its earlier smartwatches. This time, Garmin has given it a modern design like the Apple Watch and a touch-based navigation system. It has a square-shaped case with a large AMOLED display, which is Garmin’s biggest screen so far. It has only two buttons which make daily use even easier.

If you have used an Apple Watch before, you will find Venu X1’s interface familiar. Pressing the top button opens the features and scrolling down shows folders like Health and Training. These folders are well-organized so everything is clearly visible and easy to use.

One unexpected feature has put Venu X1 in the spotlight

This smartwatch has one feature that is not related to health or fitness tracking. It is a calculator that works directly on the screen. It looks simple like old Casio watches, but using it feels smooth. The screen is big and clear enough that even if your fingers are large, you can easily type on it.

But the most attention-grabbing part is the TIP button. There is a separate button in the calculator that calculates the tip based on the total amount. It also has a person counter that shows how much each person has to pay. So if you are out with friends for dinner, you won’t have to calculate anything manually.

Is this TIP feature useful or just for fun?

The TIP feature in Venu X1 is very convenient for people living in the US where tipping is a regular part of the culture. But in other countries where tipping is either optional or done by rounding off, this feature can feel a bit odd.

In countries like the UK, people give tips sometimes and that too in rough amounts. The TIP feature in Venu X1 feels a bit funny, but it’s also a cool extra.

Other features of the watch are also worth exploring

Venu X1 does not just have the calculator or TIP feature. It also includes Garmin’s usual features like health tracking, training tools, battery management, and sensors. But the first thing that stands out is how Garmin has added a fun and different touch this time, making the smartwatch not just a serious fitness device but also a light gadget for daily use.

Venu X1 is more than a smartwatch, it’s a stylish experiment

With Venu X1, Garmin has shown that it does not make products only for fitness lovers. This watch has everything that a casual user would want to use daily. The design is modern, the interface is easy to use, and the features are both useful and fun. The TIP button is an example of how smartwatches can try something new.

So if you are looking for a smartwatch that is smart, stylish, and a little fun, Garmin Venu X1 can be the right choice for you.

With features like this, Garmin has proved that a smartwatch doesn’t have to be just a fitness tool. Venu X1 is clearly a bold move that is bringing new ideas to the smartwatch segment.
