Google just rolled out its latest batch of Android updates on September 3, and this one is packed with cool tools, smarter AI, and an exclusive Pixel feature drop. From sharing audio in new ways to creating your own Android bot, here’s a look at what’s new.
Share Your Audio with Friends Using LE Audio and Auracast
Listening together just got a whole lot easier. Android now supports pairing two LE Audio Bluetooth headphones to a single phone, so you and a friend can enjoy the same track or show without the awkward “3, 2, 1, play!” countdown.

And it doesn’t stop at two. With Auracast, you can share audio with a whole group. Just connect by scanning a QR code or tapping with Google’s Fast Pair, no need to pass your earbuds around. Imagine turning your next hangout into a mini silent disco or streaming a new album with friends while keeping it private.
The only catch is that both your phone and headphones need to support LE Audio. Right now, this feature is rolling out to the Pixel 8 series and newer, Samsung flagships launched since 2023, and select Xiaomi and POCO devices.
Meet Your Android Bot Twin
Ever wondered what you’d look like as an Android mascot? Google is bringing back a fun tool called Androidify, now powered by AI. You can upload a selfie, type in a prompt, and customize your bot with outfits and accessories.
Behind the scenes, Google is using “Gemini 2.5 Flash to caption the photo, Imagen to generate your custom Android bot, and (in some cases) Veo 3, Google’s latest video generation model, to animate your bot with different vibes.”

You might even see your bot come to life in an 8-second video, though Google says that part is only available on Fridays in September with a limited number of creations.
Need ideas? Google has already experimented with bots in fun ways, like a garage band jamming in a music video or an Oreo superhero saving the day.
Smarter AI Tools for Everyday Use
Alongside these big updates, Gboard is getting a boost with AI-powered suggestions. The keyboard can now give you quick prompts to “review your tone to be more formal, expressive, or concise.” It also checks for spelling and grammar so your messages are polished before you hit send.
Emoji Kitchen is also getting fresh updates, letting you blend two emojis into one new sticker. Think flying shoes or other quirky mashups. You can browse, save your favorites, and see what unique combos pop up for you.
Sharing files is also simpler now. With the redesigned Quick Share, you can easily switch between sending and receiving, preview what you’re sharing, and open files right away. A new progress indicator even shows you how long transfers will take so no more guessing.
Pixel 10 Gets Smarter with AI
On top of everything else, Google highlighted some Pixel 10 perks. Powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, the phone comes with exclusive Gemini AI features like Camera Coach and Magic Cue, making it one of the smartest devices you can carry.
