iQOO has introduced a new mid-range smartphone in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11x. The device is aimed mainly at students and everyday smartphone users who want reliable performance, a large battery, and good camera features at an affordable price.
The company, which operates as a sub-brand of Vivo, has equipped the new phone with several features typically seen in more expensive devices. These include water and dust resistance, a high refresh rate display and a powerful battery.
Display and design
The iQOO Z11x has a large 6.76″ display at Full HD 120Hz refresh rate / high brightness mode of 1200 nits, providing a smooth display that allows for good outdoor viewing in bright sunlight.
Also, with the IP68 and IP69+, iQOO Z11x is rated for water-resistant durability plus military-grade durability certification.
Performance and software
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. The chipset is designed to handle daily tasks such as browsing, social media use and gaming smoothly.
The phone is available with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, giving users enough space for apps, photos and videos.
The device runs on OriginOS 6, the company’s custom interface based on Android.
According to iQOO, the smartphone will receive two years of operating system updates and four years of security updates.
Camera features
The iQOO Z11x has two cameras. One is on the back of the phone, and it’s a 50-megapixel camera, plus it features a secondary blurred background camera; this camera is 2-megapixels in resolution.
This camera also helps make portraits by giving you that nice blurred background look when taking your portrait pics.
The iQOO Z11x also has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies or for video chatting with your friends on video chat apps.
Both of these cameras support 4K@ 30FPS video recording; EIS works very well with these cameras to reduce shake when taking videos.
Battery and charging
One of the major highlights of the iQOO Z11x is its large battery. The phone is equipped with a 7,200mAh battery, which is designed to provide extended usage throughout the day.
The battery supports 44W fast charging, and the charger is included in the box.
Price and availability
The iQOO Z11x is available in three variants. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $206.30. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs $228.02, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at $249.74.
The smartphone comes in two colour options, Prismatic Green and Titan Black.
Sales for the iQOO Z11x will begin on March 16 through Amazon, the official iQOO website, select Vivo exclusive stores and other retail outlets across India.
With its large battery, smooth display and capable camera system, the iQOO Z11x aims to attract users looking for a dependable smartphone in the mid-range segment.
