We’ve all been buzzing about OnePlus’ latest announcements, from OxygenOS 16 (Android 16) to the new Mind Space updates. But what everyone really wants to know is: when will these updates actually arrive on our devices?
Rollout Begins in November
On October 17, OnePlus shared the official rollout timeline for OxygenOS 16, and things are kicking off soon. The first batch of devices getting the update in November includes the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 12, and their variants 13R, 13s, and 12R. The company also confirmed that the OnePlus Open, Pad 3, and Pad 2 are next in line for the update around the same time.
December Update for Older Models
December will bring OxygenOS 16 to several previous-generation models. If you’re using a OnePlus 11 5G, 11R 5G, Nord 5, Nord CE5, Nord 4, or Nord 3 5G, you can expect the new software to arrive sometime that month.

More Devices Coming in Early 2026
For other OnePlus users, the wait will be a bit longer. The next wave of updates is scheduled for Q1 2026, which means anywhere between January and March. The devices on that list include:
- OnePlus 10 Pro 5G
- OnePlus Nord CE4
- OnePlus Nord NE 4 Lite 5G
- OnePlus Pad
- OnePlus Pad Lite
Rollout in Batches
OnePlus has also given users a heads-up that the OxygenOS 16 update won’t reach everyone at the same time. The rollout will happen in batches, meaning some users might get it in the first week of November, while others may have to wait until the third week or later. So if you don’t see an update right away, keep checking your device for alerts or notifications.

What’s New in OxygenOS 16
OxygenOS 16 officially launched yesterday, bringing a bunch of AI-powered features designed to make your device more personal and intuitive. The update introduces AI Writer and AI Scan, tools built to simplify daily tasks and help users save time.
There’s also Plus Mind, an AI-driven feature that organizes your screenshots by location, date, and more. It can even suggest plans, trips, or dinner ideas based on your saved images.

Mind Space Gets Smarter
Alongside OxygenOS 16, OnePlus also upgraded its Mind Space feature in a big way. The highlight is the integration of Gemini, which allows users to connect Mind Space with Google’s AI. Gemini can scan through stored screenshots and offer useful insights or answers, much like its Extensions for YouTube, Spotify, and Google Workspace apps.
OxygenOS 16 is shaping up to be one of OnePlus’ most personal and powerful updates yet, and with rollout season just beginning, it’s only a matter of time before users can experience it firsthand.
