Now, Samsung has revealed the Android XR headset again at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The company describes it as a groundbreaking device that combines advanced AI with extended reality (XR), offering more immersive and smarter experiences for everyday use.

Project Moohan, meaning “infinity” in Korean, was first introduced to developers in mid-December with a dedicated kit. At that time, it was confirmed that the device would be available for consumers sometime in 2025. Although its unveiling at MWC brings it closer to release, Samsung has yet to reveal any details about the headset’s pricing or availability.

From what we know, the headset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset and includes an external battery. Users can also connect larger battery packs via USB-C. Before the public announcement, select partners had early access to the device for application development, and more developers received units later in December.

Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung’s Sleek Competitor to iPhone 16E

At the MWC, Samsung also showcased its Galaxy AI booth, featuring the newly launched Galaxy S25 series, the 2nd Generation Smart Ring, and the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. The S25 Edge, unveiled at the Unpacked event earlier this year, is Samsung’s take on a sleek and lightweight smartphone.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to compete directly with Apple’s recently launched iPhone 16E. Samsung showcased multiple units of the phone at MWC 2025 but has not revealed any details about its pricing or availability yet.
