As if politics wasn’t flashy enough, the Trump family is now stepping into the smartphone world and yes, it’s gold. On Monday, Eric Trump announced Trump Mobile, a new wireless service paired with a new Android-based device called the T1 Phone, which is, you guessed it, proudly golden and built in the USA.
What Is the Trump T1 Phone?
The T1 Phone is the first official smartphone under the Trump Mobile banner. According to the company, it’s “proudly designed and built in the United States.” However, in a small twist, it won’t actually be made by Trump Mobile itself. Another company is handling the design and manufacturing duties, but the branding? Pure Trump.
The phone will launch with Android 15 and comes with a healthy spec sheet that includes a massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery to keep you working, all day long.
T1 Phone Price and Pre-Order Info
- Retail Price: $499
- Pre-order Deposit: $100 (opens June 16, 2025)
- Launch Window: Trump Mobile says August 2025, but the website mentions September
So yes, you can already throw down a Benjamin to claim your unit. But whether you get it in August or September? That’s still a little foggy.
Trump Mobile’s “47 Plan”
Alongside the device, Trump Mobile is rolling out its very own wireless plan called the “47 Plan.” In case you missed the number reference—yes, it’s subtle like a sledgehammer.
- Price: $47.45/month
- Includes: Unlimited talk, text, and data
- Bonus: Free telehealth services and roadside assistance
Eric Trump says this plan reflects “American values” and is designed for “hard-working Americans.” It’s basically MAGA meets mobile service.

Specs Breakdown: T1 Under the Hood
- 6.8-inch AMOLED display (120Hz refresh rate)
- Android 15 out of the box
- 50MP main camera (no info on the rest)
- 12GB RAM
- 256GB storage (expandable)
- 5,000mAh battery
- Headphone jack and AI Face Unlock
But here’s the catch, the processor is still a mystery, and the camera performance has already raised a few eyebrows. No official review units have been seen yet, so we’ll hold our judgment till someone puts it through the paces.
Can I Use Trump Mobile Without the T1?
Yup. You don’t need the T1 to use Trump Mobile. You can bring your own device and simply subscribe to their network. But if you’re all about going full Trump mode, the T1 is clearly the centerpiece.
Customer Service and Support
The company has announced that a 250-seat customer service center will be set up in the U.S. to handle subscriber support. So, whether you’re calling about your bill or struggling with Face Unlock, help should be made in America too.
Ready to pre-order? The $100 deposit is live now on Trump Mobile’s official website. The rest of the $499 is due when the phone ships later this year.
