The Nothing Phone 3 has landed. It’s loud, proud, and makes a statement the moment you pick it up. With a price tag of £799 or $799, it’s the company’s most ambitious device yet. Nothing is calling it a flagship. But does it perform like one, or is it just wearing flagship clothes?
Let’s unpack it.
Nothing Phone 3 Price and Availability
Launched in July 2025, the Phone 3 is available globally via Nothing’s website and partners like EE, Three, and Vodafone in the UK.
Two versions are on sale:
- 12GB RAM with 256GB storage – £799 or $799
- 16GB RAM with 512GB storage – £899 or $899
That pricing puts it in the same ballpark as the iPhone 16 and the Galaxy S25. Not their Pro or Ultra models, but still enough to demand serious expectations.
Design and Display

Design is where Nothing still owns the game. The transparent back remains, but this time there’s a circular LED Glyph Matrix instead of the usual light strips. It’s not just for flair. You can assign contact initials, app icons, even widgets to it. Yes, there’s a button that turns the matrix on or off, and a red recording LED adds an old-school camcorder vibe.
Front and center is a 6.7-inch OLED display with crisp resolution and eye-searing brightness.
- 1260 x 2800 resolution
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 4500 nits peak brightness
- In-display fingerprint scanner
- Flat edges, symmetrical bezels, aluminum frame
It looks clean. In fact, the front feels almost iPhone-like. But spin it around and you’ll either love or hate the futuristic, almost gamer-like aesthetic. Nothing is trying to stand out, and it does.
Performance and Software

Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. It’s not the very best chip Qualcomm makes, but it’s no slouch either.
- Battery: 5150mAh (India gets 5500mAh)
- Charging: 65W wired, 15W wireless
- OS: Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15
- Upgradable to: Nothing OS 4.0
Performance in daily use is snappy. Multitasking is smooth. The battery holds up extremely well, easily lasting a full day with heavy use and stretching to two days with moderate tasks.
Nothing’s AI tricks are subtle but handy. “Essential Search” lets you find anything across your phone instantly. “Smart Widgets” and “Memory Hub” keep things tidy and responsive without making it feel bloated.
Cameras

Here’s where it starts to wobble. The Nothing Phone 3 comes with four 50MP sensors.
- 50MP Main
- 50MP Periscope Zoom (3x)
- 50MP Ultra-wide
- 50MP Front
That’s a lot of megapixels. And yes, daylight shots are clean, with solid dynamic range. But the color science between lenses is inconsistent, and low-light performance is very average. There’s noise, softness, and a lack of detail the moment the lighting dips.
Video goes up to 4K at 60fps. The recording LED on the back is a nice throwback feature, but the results aren’t on par with the iPhone 16 or Pixel 9.
