Oppo Find N5, the much awaited device from the brand, is expected to arrive soon as a successor to the Oppo Find N3, which was unveiled in October 2023. The purported book-style foldable has been a talking point among gadget lovers and potential buyers.
The smartphone is expected to launch in select global markets in next few months.
Oppo Find N5: Key Features Expected
The Oppo Find N5 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The handset is expected to house a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit placed inside a circular module. It is said to support wireless magnetic charging and might likely be “compatible with Apple ecology,” which could mean a MagSafe type of charging solution. This also means a seamless transfer of files between Android and iPhones.
As per reports, the OPPO Find N5 will be backed by a larger battery unit of a 5,565mAh compared to its predecessor.
As far as the design is concerned, the Oppo Find N5 is rumoured to get a thinner and lighter build than the Oppo Find N3 as well as an “enhanced metal texture.” Earlier, it was tipped to arrive with “record-breaking” thinness of around 9.xmm.
Reports suggest Oppo Find N5 will pack 2K resolution displays and a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor. Alongside a waterproof build, the device is said to feature an alert slider as well.
Oppo Find N5: Expected Launch Timeline
The Oppo Find N5 is expected to release globally in the first half of 2025, that is between January and June, according to a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Earlier, a leak claimed that the foldable smartphone may hit the market by the first quarter of 2025.
The handset is likety to release as a rebranded OnePlus Open 2 globally.
