Trump Mobile appears to have introduced another redesign for its upcoming T1 smartphone, adding fresh intrigue to one of the most talked-about mobile projects tied to the Trump brand.
According to reports from CNET, the latest version of the T1 phone displayed on Trump Mobile’s official website looks noticeably different from earlier versions that were previously showcased to reporters and promotional audiences.
The updated design reportedly includes a revised rear camera setup, marking what now appears to be at least the third major visual redesign since the smartphone was first announced.
Camera Layout Appears Completely Different
The most significant change appears to be related to the phone’s back camera module. Previous prototypes shown publicly have different blind arrangements and different designer language -the last renders on the company’s web page, however, have led us to believe that Trump Mobile may have moved to a more current flagship style design.
Although the company has not publicly described the redesign, continued visual alterations to devices usually indicate ongoing revisions to hardware development, production, or supply chain arrangements that will need to be made before production of larger quantities.
The phone is still expected to run on Android software and reportedly includes features such as:
- A Snapdragon processor
- AI-powered face unlock
- Multiple rear cameras
- 5G network support
Questions Continue Around Manufacturing Plans
Trump’s mobile phone T1 has gotten attention over the questions regarding if this phone was made in America.
When the project was originally announced, there was a lot of hype about the T1 mobile phone being made in America, but afterwards, all references to it being made in America had been dropped by the company after phone experts said that there is no way for mass production of mobile phones to ever happen completely in the USA.
The company now calls the T1 mobile phone “designed with American Values,” but doesn’t say anything about whether it will be made in America.
When the company announced the T1 mobile phone, they had said that it was going to be assembled in Florida, but that all components of the phone were going to be made in a “favoured nation.”
The manufacturer has failed to respond publicly to any of the questions about their supply chain, facilities, or timeline to manufacture.
Certifications Suggest the Project Is Still Moving Forward
Despite ongoing questions surrounding the project, recent regulatory developments suggest the T1 smartphone may still be progressing toward launch.
According to The Verge, the device has reportedly received PTCRB certification, an important approval confirming compatibility with mobile carrier networks.
FCC filings tied to companies linked with Trump Mobile executives have also reportedly surfaced, further indicating that behind-the-scenes development activity is continuing.
These certifications are typically required before smartphones can officially launch in the United States.
Trump Mobile Continues Accepting Deposits
Even with the redesigns and unanswered questions, Trump Mobile is still actively promoting the T1 smartphone as part of its broader wireless service business.
The device remains listed online for $499, while customers can reportedly reserve it with a $100 deposit.
However, no confirmed shipping timeline has been announced so far.
The repeated redesigns, shifting marketing language, and lack of manufacturing transparency have fueled growing speculation around the project’s future.
At the same time, the ongoing certifications and continued promotions suggest Trump Mobile is still pushing ahead with plans to enter the smartphone market.
