Samsung and Perplexity are close to finalizing a deal
According to a new report by journalist Mark Gurman, Samsung and Perplexity AI are in talks for a big partnership. As per sources, both companies are discussing adding the Perplexity app as a pre-installed app in upcoming Galaxy devices. This integration will work along with Samsung’s built-in AI assistant.
The report also says that Samsung may announce this deal officially by the end of 2025. If everything goes as planned, then Perplexity AI could become the default assistant in Galaxy S26 phones instead of Google Gemini or as an alternative to it.
