Get Ready for the OnePlus 12 Launch
OnePlus is going to launch a new model of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the OnePlus 12 in market soon.
The OnePlus 12 is anticipated to replace the OnePlus 11, the company’s current flagship model, when it launches soon. Some important details about the next model have already been confirmed by the corporation. After design images and other information were previously leaked by tipsters, OnePlus has officially verified several crucial smartphone camera features. Sony LYT sensors were formerly said to be included in the OnePlus 12. The device was previously anticipated to go on sale in early 2024, and the latest teaser image suggests that the OnePlus 12 release date is drawing nearer.
The OnePlus 12 will employ Sony’s LYT-808 main sensor, and it will have a ProXDR display with a 2K resolution, the company announced in a Weibo post. A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens on the phone has previously been reported.
A DisplayMate A+ certified X1 “Oriental Screen” with a peak brightness level of 2,600 nits is another feature that OnePlus hinted would be included in the next flagship smartphone. OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14, is also expected to be pre-installed on it. With the OnePlus 12, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be included.

Additionally, it is anticipated that the phone will have a 48-megapixel sensor, likely housing the Sony IMX581 ultra-wide telephoto lens. It has a 5,400mAh battery that can be charged at 100W via wired fast charging and 50W via wireless charging.
The OnePlus 11 5G, the flagship phone of the current generation, is available in India in the following color options: Marble Odyssey, Titan Black, and Eternal Green. The latter is limited to the high-end 16GB + 256GB edition. In India, this is priced at Rs. 61,999, while the entry-level 8GB + 256GB variant is advertised for Rs. 56,999. The 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) 10-bit LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display on the OnePlus 11 has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 1000Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and runs OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging.
The OnePlus 11 boasts a triple rear camera unit that consists of a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 OIS-supported primary sensor, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 sensor featuring an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor with a telephoto lens. Meanwhile, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor serves as the front camera.
