Apple launches its cheapest device yet, new Beats Cable for just £18.99

Apple has surprised its fans once again – not with an expensive gadget this time, but with a simple and useful product for daily use.

Apple has launched a new charging cable under its brand Beats, which costs only £18.99 (around ₹1,800). This new product is called “Beats Cables” and is available for order on Apple’s website apple.com/uk. It will also be available in stores from April 17.

What’s special about this new Beats Cable?

This cable is specially designed so that it doesn’t get tangled easily. Apple says it has a “tangle-free woven design” which makes it more strong and protects it from getting damaged.

Beats Cable comes in two size options – one is 1.5 meters and the other is just 20 centimeters. Users can pick the one that fits their needs.

The cable comes in four different colors:

  • Bolt Black
  • Surge Stone
  • Nitro Navy
  • Rapid Red

Many connection types available

Beats Cables come with different connection options for different devices:

  • USB-C to USB-C
  • USB-A to USB-C
  • USB-C to Lightning

USB-C to USB-C cable works with both Apple and Android devices. You can charge, transfer data, listen to music, or use CarPlay with it.

Apple says that when this cable is used with a USB-C power adapter, it supports fast charging up to 60W.

Focus on sustainability too

While most charging cables are made from plastic, Beats Cable packaging is made fully from plant-based material. Apple said that this material is 100% recycled fiber and comes from sustainable forests.

Price and availability

Beats Cable pricing:

  • Single cable – £18.99 (about ₹1,800)
  • Two-pack – £34.99 (about ₹3,400).

Why is this launch important?

Apple already sells many charging cables that cost between £19 and £69. But this is the first time the company has launched a charging cable under the Beats brand. This product is a good choice for users who want strong and reliable quality without spending too much.

This launch also comes just after Apple added a new item in the Mac section, Lumon Terminal Pro. But this is not for sale. It is just a promotion for the Apple TV+ show Severance.

Apple’s new Beats Cable may look simple, but its strong design, fast charging feature, and eco-friendly material make it a smart choice. It is better than cheap cables and will last longer. If you use Apple or Android devices and want a cable that doesn’t tangle, this is worth trying.
