Itel S25 Series With 6.78-inch AMOLED Screen, 50 MP Camera Rolled Out In Philippines: Check Price, Specifications

Itel S25 and Itel S25 Ultra have been released in the Philippines as the brand’s latest midrange smartphones. It is not to be confused with Samsung’s upcoming smartphones-the flagship Galaxy S25 series- that are expected to launch  in early 2025. 

The new models from Itel come with Unisoc processors and sport 6.78-inch AMOLED screens with an under-display fingerprint scanner. They pack a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Both devices are expected to get an update to Android 15.

The S25 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The S25 Ultra keeps the same display size and refresh rate, but upgrades to a curved AMOLED panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. 

Both the Itel S25 and S25 Ultra are equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear panel and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

While the company is yet to confirm the details of the chipset for the vanilla model, S25 Ultra is powered by the Unisoc T620 chipset along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. 

Both the models are dual SIM smartphones that run on Android 14.

Connectivity options on the Itel S25 and S25 Ultra include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC, as well as a USB Type-C port. The Ultra model is also said to feature an infrared transmitter to control various appliances.

On the durability front, S25 comes with IP54 splash resistance, whereas the Ultra version has the water resistance rating to IP64, making it more dust and water-resistant.

Both handsets pack a 5,000mAh battery, however, there’s no mention of support for fast charging. 

Itel S25 and S25 Ultra sport an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Price and Availability

The Itel S25 is priced at PHP 5,799 (approx. USD 110) for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the S25 Ultra is listed at PHP 10,999 (approx. USD 210) for the 8GB/256GB configuration. 

The base model comes in Bromo Black, Mambo Mint, and Sahara Gleam colourways, while the Ultra handset is available in Meteor Titanium, Bromo Black, and Komodo Ocean colour options. 

The Itel S25 and S25 Ultra are open to pre-order starting November 10.
