Motorola has officially launched the world’s first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset- the Moto G75 5G. The device debuts as a mid-range 5G smartphone. 

Apart from the Snapdragon chip, the Moto G75 5G features a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The smooth display promises a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The Moto G75 runs Android 14 with MyUX on top. The company  promises five years of Android OS updates, and six years of regular security patches with the Moto G75 5G. 

In the camera department, Moto G75 opts for a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary senor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support, as well as an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture that doubles as a macro shooter, on the back. Up front, the smartphone features a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras on the Moto G75 can record 4K video.

The phone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support. The handset is also equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and more. It has no headphone jack

Moto G75  is equipped with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage and is military-grade certified (MIL-STD-810H) while also featuring IP68 underwater protection and dust immersion ensuring longevity.

Price and Availability

Moto G75 5G comes in  vegan leather and matte material options with a polycarbonate chassis and a Gorilla Glass 5 front. The Matte variant weighs 205g and the Vegan Leather model weighs 208g.

The phone will be available in Charcoal Grey, Aqua Blue and Succulent Green colours and is priced at 299 Euros (USD 333.). It will roll out in Europe and the Middle East first, with select markets in Latin America and Asia-Pacific to follow. It will be on sale from November 5th.
