Apple has shared an urgent message for iPhone users, warning that some people may start facing technical issues if they don’t make changes to their devices. According to Apple’s official website, affected users may need to update their iPhones to avoid glitches and performance problems.

The company says that installing the latest software update, iOS 26, could fix many of these issues. Apple is urging users to act quickly, noting that the update includes the “latest features and security enhancements”. Before installing anything, Apple also reminds users to stay safe by backing up their data.

“Before downloading new software, back up your device to make sure that you have a copy of your important information.”

Who Can Update to iOS 26:

Not every iPhone will be able to install iOS 26. Apple explains that update options depend on the software version currently running on your device.
