What really stands out is how Infinix managed to fit a massive 6,500mAh battery into such a slim phone. Normally, batteries this size make devices feel heavy and thick. It is worth checking availability in your region, though. Some markets will get a slightly smaller 6,150mAh battery instead. Even then, battery life should still be solid.
Charging is handled by 45W fast charging, which can take the phone to 50% in under 30 minutes. There is also adaptive bypass charging, which helps control heat when you are gaming or using navigation for long periods.
Longevity is a selling point, not an afterthought
Battery lifespan is another area where the Note Edge aims to shine. According to Infinix’s lab tests, the battery should retain more than 80% of its capacity after 2,000 charge cycles. If that holds up in everyday use, this Android phone could easily last around six years with daily charging.
New chipset, smooth performance
Inside the Note Edge is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, making this the first Android phone to use it. Built on a 6nm process, it pairs Cortex-A78 and A55 CPU cores with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU.
In everyday use, this should mean smoother multitasking, better power efficiency, and more stable performance in games. In supported titles, Infinix says you can expect frame rates of up to 90fps.
Software that feels fresh and fun
On the software side, this Android phone runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. It introduces the new Glow Space design language, which focuses on dynamic lighting effects, physics-based haptic feedback, and playful 3D depth wallpapers.
Infinix is also stepping up its update promise. The company says the Note Edge will get three years of OS updates and five years of security patches. That is the longest software support commitment the Note series has seen so far.
