Nothing Unveils Its Most Advanced Android Phone Yet

Nothing has launched its most advanced phone yet, the Nothing Phone (3), at an event in East London.

Described as the company’s first true flagship, it features a bold new design, powerful AI, Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chip, triple cameras with 60x zoom, and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display.

The highlight is the Glyph Matrix, a smart LED ring on the back that shows alerts, battery levels, timers, and even fun tools like a selfie mirror or spin the bottle.

It packs a 5,150mAh silicon-carbon battery with fast charging (50% in 19 mins), 15W wireless charging, and long-term support with 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches.

With this launch, Nothing is clearly ready to compete with the biggest names in smartphones.

Nothing Phone (3) Takes Aim at Tech Giants with Bold New Features

Camera Features

The Nothing Phone (3) packs four 50MP cameras:

  • Main camera

  • Periscope zoom camera with 6x optical and 60x digital zoom (AI-enhanced)

  • Ultra-wide camera with a 114° view and macro mode (can shoot close-ups from 10cm)

  • Front camera for selfies and video calls

All cameras can shoot in 4K at 60fps. Built-in optical image stabilization (OIS) helps keep photos and videos sharp and steady. Nothing also includes presets developed with pro photographers – including a “Dune” filter for cinematic video.

Software & Features

Out of the box, the Phone (3) runs Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15. Highlights include:

  • Essential Space: A smart notes area for ideas, screenshots, voice memos – accessed with the new Essential Key button. AI helps organize and suggest actions.

  • Flip to Record: Long-press the Essential Key, flip the phone, and it starts recording meetings. AI transcribes and summarizes everything.

  • Essential Search: Swipe up to search your phone, settings, files, and even ask questions.

All AI features that use the cloud delete your data after use, keeping it private.
