July is packed with exciting mobile game releases, led by the English version of Persona 5: The Phantom X for iOS and Android.
While summer is usually quiet for big console games, mobile is buzzing. Supercell has rolled out major updates. Boom Beach gets a refresh, and Clash Royale introduces a new turn-based auto battler inspired by Clash Mini, which was previously shelved after limited testing.
Also landing this month are Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD on Apple Arcade and Rustbowl Rumble, a new entry in the fan-favorite Meteorfall deck-building series.
Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble:
A clever turn-based deck builder with 4v4 battles, wild cards, and crowd challenges. Tons of strategy, combos, and great visuals keep it fresh. Score: 8/10
No Way Home:
A space shooter with RPG elements and smooth touch controls. Fun upgrades, sharp writing, and satisfying action. Score: 8/10
Feed The Deep:
Dive into dark underwater caves to find treasure and feed a sea monster.
Upgrade your diver, dodge deadly creatures, and blast through maze-like paths. Score: 8/10
Persona 5: The Phantom X
A mobile spin-off that keeps the Persona vibe alive with turn-based combat.
Fun characters and style, but slow progress unless you grind or pay. Score: 7/10
Ultimate Chicken Horse:
Build crazy obstacle courses and outwit your friends in chaotic races.
Best with local friends – online play and high mobile costs hold it back. Score: 6/10
Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD+
Classic tower defense action with heroes, spells, and deep upgrades. Apple Arcade version removes microtransactions, making it the best edition. Score: 8/10
