Moto Pad 2026 Launch Check Display, Specs, Features and Price

Motorola has re-entered the tablet market after an extended absence, as the brand has released its new Moto Pad 2026, which focuses on portability, 5G support and affordability when it hits the United States recently.

The Moto Pad is also being released alongside the Moto G Stylus 2026 tablet, and Motorola has been very strategic in providing housing solutions to those looking for less expensive, more utilitarian choices for their tablet needs.

Design

Motorola is leaning hard into portability here. The Moto Pad 2026 is designed to be something you can actually carry around daily without thinking twice.

It features a dual-tone metal finish in PANTONE Bronze Green, which gives it a more premium look than you’d expect at this price range. The tablet is also lightweight, making it ideal for travel, casual use, or even work on the go.

There are pogo pins on the side too, hinting at future accessories like a keyboard, though Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Moto Pad 2026 Big & Smooth Display

The 11-inch 2.5K LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz isn’t quite a flagship product, but is still excellent for streaming and browsing as well as spreading news or completing small productivity tasks.

The 90Hz refresh rate makes scrolling feel smoother than other low-cost products.

In addition, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos show that Motorola intends for this device to be used primarily for entertainment.

Performance

Under the hood, the Moto Pad 2026 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM.

No, it’s not built for heavy gaming or intense multitasking, but for daily use, apps, video calls and media, it should hold up just fine. This is the same chip seen in phones like the Moto G Power 2026, so expectations should stay realistic.

You also get 128GB storage, which is expandable, a big plus at this price point.

Camera & Battery

With Moto Pad 2026, you get an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. That’s enough for video calls, online classes or quick snaps, but nothing beyond that.

Talking about the battery, it is backed by a 7,020mAh battery.

That should comfortably last through a day of mixed usage. Charging is capped at 20W, which isn’t fast, but again, expected in this segment.

5G and Smart Connectivity Stand Out

Here is where it starts getting fun! While 5G is great for tablets with cellular service, it will allow you to take your tablet with you and use it on the go without searching for a Wi-Fi connection.

In addition, the tablet is also compatible with Smart Connect, which allows you to connect your Motorola Phone or PC so that you can share files, mirror apps and expand your workspace on multiple devices without much effort.

Price and Availability

The Moto Pad 2026 will be available in the U.S. starting April 30, exclusively via T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile.

Motorola hasn’t revealed the price yet, but all signs point to it being on the lower end of the tablet market. That’s clearly the play here: compete on value rather than specs.

Motorola hasn’t been very active in the tablet space, especially in the U.S., so this launch matters more than it looks.
