Honor 600 Pro Review Big Battery, Premium Design, And A Familiar Look

Smartphone brands are increasingly focusing on flashy AI tools and experimental features, but for most buyers, the basics still matter the most battery life, display quality, camera performance, and charging speed.

That’s exactly where Honor appears to be positioning the new Honor 600 Pro.

While the phone clearly borrows design inspiration from Apple’s iPhone lineup, the Honor 600 Pro focuses heavily on delivering strong everyday performance with flagship-level hardware and impressive battery life.

Premium Design

With its sleek look due to flat edges, slim bezels, and a sleek, polished look, the Honor 600 will definitely stand out from other smart devices.

Overall, Honor appears to have been influenced by the style of Apple’s iPhones, especially when it comes to some of the colour options; however, the actual build quality of the device has remained at a very high level as well.

Battery Life

Battery performance is one of the key features of the Honor 600 Pro.

The UK version has a 6400mAh battery that should provide excellent battery performance even when used heavily every day (e.g. playing games, taking photos/videos, using Bluetooth, using mobile hotspot and watching videos).

If you are a moderate user, you should be able to have a battery life of 2 days before needing to recharge.

Fast Charging

When the battery finally runs low, the Honor 600 Pro supports up to 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

While a few competing phones may offer even faster charging speeds, the device still charges quickly enough to make everyday battery anxiety far less noticeable.

Bright 120Hz Display

A bright 120Hz display of superior quality and exceptionally smooth scrolling has been created.

The display maintains readability outdoors even in bright sunlight, produces beautiful colours, and gives fluid animations.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Powers Flagship Performance

Performance is handled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The processor reportedly delivers fast app launches, smooth multitasking, and reliable gaming performance without major slowdowns, placing the Honor 600 Pro firmly in flagship territory when it comes to speed.

Camera

The Honor 600 Pro features a 200MP main camera sensor alongside a telephoto lens.

The main camera reportedly captures detailed and vibrant images with strong dynamic range, while portrait photography and zoom performance are also considered solid. However, some reviewers still believe phones like the Google Pixel 10 Pro may offer more consistent camera performance overall.

MagicOS Software

The weaker part of the experience appears to be Honor’s MagicOS software.

Although the software has reportedly become smoother and more stable compared to older versions, it still includes noticeable bloatware and lacks a clear software identity compared to competitors like Samsung or Google.

Pricing

The Honor 600 Pro launches at £899.99, placing it close to premium flagship competitors from brands like Samsung, Google, and OnePlus.

However, Honor is currently offering discounts through its official website, which could make the device more attractive for buyers looking for strong battery life, fast charging, and premium hardware without fully stepping into ultra-premium pricing territory.
