Google Pixel 9a: Expected Features, Top Specs, Price Details

Google Pixel 9a is on its way to hit the shelves, and the launch date for the company’s next mid-range smartphone in Europe has been leaked online. 

The phone is expected to go on sale in the continent and the US on the same day. 

According to tipsters, the device is rumoured to feature Google’s Tensor G4 chip, and a 48-megapixel primary camera.

Google Pixel 9a: Expected Specifications

The upcoming Pixel 9a is likely to ship with Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, the same processor that powers the Pixel 9 series of smartphones. It will likely feature 8GB of RAM along with up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The device is expected to sport a 6.3-inch Actua display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Multiple reports have also suggested that the Google Pixel 9a will pack  a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. It could come with a 5,100mAh battery that offers 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging support. It is rumoured to run on Android 15 and could arrive with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Google Pixel 9a: Expected Launch Date in Europe and Price

Google Pixel 9a price starts at EUR 549 for the base model with 128GB of storage and EUR 649 for the 256GB variant. In the UK, the handset will cost GBP 499 and GBP 599 for the 128GB and 256GB storage options, respectively.

In Europe, the 128GB variant will be offered in four colourways — Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain. On the other hand, the 256GB option will only be available in Iris and Obsidian colour options.

According to the reports, Google Pixel 9a will be released in Europe on March 19, the same day that the handset is scheduled to arrive in the US. The phone is also expected to go on sale starting March 26, in both Europe and  the US.
