Nubia Z70 Ultra Debuts Nebula AIOS, Packs 64MP Telephoto Camera; Know Price, Specs
The Nubia Z70 Ultra arrives with a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness level, a 2,592Hz PWM dimming rate and SGS low blue light certification.
Nubia Z70 Ultra has been launched in China as the company’s flagship smartphone of the year. The handset is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 24GB of RAM. It comes with an improved camera unit and enables AI integration with the company’s Nebula AIOS.
Backed by a 6,150mAh battery with 80W wired charging, Nubia Z70 Ultra sports a 6.85-inch AMOLED display. The device carries a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit including a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter.
Nubia Z70 Ultra is confirmed to launch globally on November 26. It succeeds the Nubia Z60 Ultra, which was unveiled in China almost a year ago.

The Nubia Z70 Ultra arrives with a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness level, a 2,592Hz PWM dimming rate and SGS low blue light certification.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage lightning-fast performance. It also packs AI Frame Perception 2.0, improving system fluency by 25% and app launch speeds by 50%.
For optics, the Nubia Z70 Ultra carries a triple rear camera unit, including a 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 1/2-inch 64-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter. The under-screen front camera holds a 16-megapixel sensor.
Nubia Z70 Ultra runs Android 15-based Nebula AIOS skin on top, which is said to be a fully voice-controlled AI-backed system. It comes with several artificial intelligence features that enhance note-taking, translating, imaging, and editing experiences.
The phone packs a massive 6,150mAh second-generation silicon-carbon anode battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging. It is equipped with AI “zero” power consumption 2.0 technology to reduce power consumption when waking up at night.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It comes with a DTS:X Ultra-backed dual speaker unit. The phone measures 164.3 x 77.1 x 8.6mm in size and weighs about 228g.
The handset is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance.
The back of a Nubia Z70 Ultra features a new introduction- a “Starry Dome Soft Sand” finish, providing a skin-friendly and delicate touch. The handset has an all-metal middle frame and a softened design with micro-arc lines.
The Nubia Z70 Ultra is the first device to run on the company’s Nebula AIOS, a fully voice-controlled AI operating system. Its Future Mode simplifies interactions, while AI tools like “time capsule” smart assistants, screen-off chat, and AI translation enhance user experience.

The Nubia Z70 Ultra is available for pre-order in China via the official Nubia e-store and will start shipping in the country starting November 25. The global variant will be introduced in select markets on November 26.
