Realme Neo 7 SE, Realme Neo 7x: Teased Features, Prices In China

Realme is preparing to launch new smartphones in China. The brand has teased the Realme Neo 7 SE and the Realme Neo 7x with pre-reservations for the upcoming handsets already live in the country. However, an exact launch date for the models are yet to be confirmed. 

Both the smartphones, which are likely to join Realme Neo 7, surfaced on certification sites last month. The company has teased some of their key features and specifications. 

Realme Neo 7 SE: What to expect

Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase has confirmed that Realme Neo 7 SE will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max SoC. 

The handset is expected to carry a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264 x 2780 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a facial recognition feature. It is rumoured to pack a 50-megapixel main rear camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 16-megapixel front camera sensor.

Connectivity options on Realme Neo 7 SE are said to include 5G, 4G LTE, IR sensor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a USB Type-C port. The handset is tipped to have a 8.56mm thick profile and weigh 212.1g. 

The device is expected to be fuelled by a battery with 6,850mAh capacity and may support up to 80W wired fast charging.

Realme Neo 7x: What to expect

Realme will also introduce the Neo7x alongside. This also got certified last month with the model number RMX5071. The phone is said to be the first to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, which was introduced earlier this month.

The Neo 7x is anticipated to have a slightly smaller display at 6.67 inches with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is expected to support up to an octa-core Snapdragon processor clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The Neo 7x will offer up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage capacity. It is likely to ship with Android 15 with Realme UI.

For optics, the smartphone is likely to arrive with a 50MP camera accompanied by an LED flash and a secondary portrait camera of up to 2MP resolution.  It is expected to house a front-facing camera of up to 16MP resolution.

Price and Availability

The Realme Neo 7 SE and the Realme Neo 7x have been teased to launch in China exclusively before hitting global markets. Pre-bookings for both handsets are currently open through the Realme China e-store alongside other e-commerce platforms. 

Realme has yet to announce the exact launch date of the phones.

The Realme Neo 7 SE in China is listed at under CNY 2,000 (USD 275), while the Realme Neo 7x is teased to be available in the CNY 1,000 (USD 137)range.
