Redmi Book 16 2025 To Arrive With Massive AI-Driven Battery, HyperOS 2
Xiaomi announced the Redmi Book 16 2025 in a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
Redmi has announced a new laptop- Redmi Book 16 2025 for the Chinese market. The laptop, which comes as the successor to the Redmi Book 16 (2024), will be launched alongside the Redmi Turbo 4.
While the company did not reveal its complete specifications, it teased some of its capabilities. Redmi Book 16 (2025) is confirmed to be powered by an Intel Core processor. The device runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and integrates seamlessly with the Xiaomi Pengpai Zhilian ecosystem, enhancing compatibility with other smart devices from the brand.

Xiaomi announced the Redmi Book 16 2025 in a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. As per the teaser, the laptop is confirmed to feature battery enhancements powered by artificial intelligence (AI) such as AI scheduling which can identify scenarios and adapt the power consumption to deliver efficiency. On the back of this upgrade, the company claims that the laptop can run more than 19 hours on a single charge.
Redmi Book 16 2025 will feature an Intel Core processor with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 47W, although the exact chipset is under wraps as of now. It is expected to build upon the features of its predecessor — the Redmi Book 16 2024.
The integration with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and the Pengpai Zhilian ecosystem will likely enhance productivity for users who are already part of the Xiaomi ecosystem. This feature could make it easier to share files, manage tasks, and control other smart devices from the laptop.
Adding to the selling point of Redmi Book 16 2025 is the long battery life of over 19 hours that will appeal to students, professionals, and anyone who requires a reliable laptop for extended periods without access to a power source.

The image teased so far does not show any real differences between the Redmi Book 16 2024 and the upcoming successor.
The predecessor was equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, a 16-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
