Meet The Next-Gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform: Qualcomm has recently, in its big reveal, unveiled its next-gen Snapdragon mobile platform, which is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, at its annual Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii.
What is Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

It promises various improvements across various performance markers like AI capabilities, gaming experience, battery efficiency, video, and connectivity.

However, the APV Codec(Advanced Professional Video) codec that had been launched with Anrodi 16 will now have the support of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is being called one of Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chipsets to date.
It integrates Qualcomm’s X85 modem and offers a download speed of up to 12.5 Gbps and an upload speed that goes up to 3.7 Gbps. This is nearly a 25 percent increase from the previous Snapdragon generation.

It enables multitasking at lightning speed, which means there will be seamless app switching.
