It is designed to deliver big sound without becoming a back-breaking burden to carry, making it a tempting mid-range option for those wanting style, durability, and punchy audio.

The Sony Ult Field 3 is available now for £129. This places it in the mid-range bracket of portable Bluetooth speakers, a segment where buyers expect a balance of sound quality, durability, and portability.
Design and Features
While some of Sony’s Ult models are designed to scream for attention, the Ult Field 3 takes a more refined approach. With an oblong design wrapped in a durable mesh grille and subtle feet for stability, it looks sleek without being flashy. Large driver apertures sit at each end, while the top hosts essential controls, power, Bluetooth pairing, play/pause, volume, and the signature “Ult” button for an instant bass boost.
It also comes with hooks for a detachable carrying strap, a USB-C charging port hidden under a protective flap, and an IP67 water and dust resistance rating. Performance
The Ult Field 3 delivers loud, detailed audio for its size.
