What’s New In The POCO F7 Series? Know The Features And Specs

POCO has launched its new POCO F7 series recently, which includes two phones POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro.

These phones come at a time when many brands are trying to offer powerful features at a lower price. POCO has mainly focused on speed, camera, and display in these models.

POCO F7 Series Chipset and Performance

• The POCO F7 Ultra comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Elite) chip. It is built with 3nm technology, which helps the phone work faster and use less battery.

• The F7 Pro uses the Dimensity 9200+ chip, which also gives strong performance.

Both phones run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, which feels clean and smooth. The Ultra model also includes a VisionBoost D7 chip, which helps improve the display and gaming experience. In the AnTuTu test, the Ultra scored over 2.8 million.

POCO F7 Series Battery and Charging

• The F7 Ultra has a 5,300mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging support.

• The F7 Pro comes with a larger 6,000mAh battery and supports 90W charging.

Both the phones include POCO Surge chips which helps the battery stay healthy for a longer time.

POCO F7 Series Camera Setup

POCO F7 Ultra has three back cameras:

• 50MP Sony main sensor

• 50MP ultra-wide camera

• 50MP zoom lens with 3.2x zoom

POCO F7 Pro has:

• 50MP main camera

• 8MP ultra-wide camera

Both phones use AI features to make photos look better in low light and improve sharpness.

POCO F7 Series Display and Design

• Both models have a 1.5K AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate.

• The screen is very bright, up to 3200 nits, and has 3840Hz PWM dimming to protect the eyes.

• The Ultra version has IP68 rating, which means it can handle water and dust.

• The Ultra also has POCO Shield Glass for screen protection, while the Pro version has Gorilla Glass 7i.

POCO F7 Series Sound and Signal

• Both phones come with stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and tuned audio for better sound.

• A special chip called Surge T1S RF tuner is used for strong signals during calls and gaming.

POCO F7 Series Price and Availability

The POCO F7 Ultra comes in two models:

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: $599

• 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: $649

• Available in Black and Yellow colors.

POCO F7 Pro also comes in two models:

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: $449

• 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: $499

• Available in Black, Blue, and Silver.

These are early-bird prices and POCO has not said how long these prices will stay.

The POCO F7 Ultra is made for people who want great performance for gaming, camera, and multitasking without spending too much.

The F7 Pro is more for users who want a big battery, good screen, and decent performance at a lower price.
