Ahead of the launch, the company has also teased certain details around the phone, including its key hardware features. Let’s look at what is coming with the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Design:

Nothing has fully unveiled the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s design prior to its unveiling. The future phone bears a striking resemblance to the CMF Phone 1, its predecessor. However, there are some noteworthy improvements. First off, the Phone 2 Pro’s triple camera system is an improvement over the Phone 1’s two camera configuration. The third camera lens appears to be a toggle button because there isn’t an elevated camera island.

Second, the Phone 2 Pro will have a dual-tone back panel that will make it resemble a foldable gadget. The teased photos also demonstrate how the textures of the two sides differ. Orange and grey are the two color options that the firm has teased thus far.

Processor:

MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro processor will be included in the CMF Phone 2 Pro. According to the company, this new chipset would perform better than the one found in the CMF Phone 1 from the previous year, with “up to 10 per cent faster CPU speeds” and “up to 5 per cent improvement in graphics handling.” Furthermore, it will have a next-generation NPU that can perform “4.8 trillion operations per second.”

Camera system:

The gadget will include three cameras on the back: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a field of view of 119.5 degrees, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Essential Space:

The addition of the Essential Key, a second side button next to the power button, will be one of the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s most notable features. A feature called “Essential Space,” which establishes a specific place for storing commonly used items like voice notes, screenshots, and images, will be activated by this new button. AI-driven “Smart Collections,” which automatically group files into categories according to their type and reduce the need for manual sorting, are also anticipated to be incorporated into the system. Although early teasers suggest some functional similarities, it is unclear if the Essential Key will also offer fast camera access, as seen with the Nothing Phone 3a.

Display:

The Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro will have the “segment’s largest and brightest” display, the manufacturer claims. It claims that the forthcoming phone would be a gaming hub without providing any further details. It is anticipated that the phone will enable games like BGMI at 120 frames per second and have a quick 1000 Hz touch response rate for seamless gameplay.

Price:

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is anticipated to cost about $235, which is in line with the cost of its predecessor, the CMF Phone 1, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. This approximate amount most likely pertains to the base model, which has 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. A more expensive model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is also planned; it will cost just over $235.

Despite not being official yet, these numbers align with Nothing’s CMF strategy of serving consumers on a tight budget.
