Be careful! If you create ‘objectionable’ pictures of children using AI, then you are in trouble

Many things have become easier due to artificial intelligence (AI). Work that used to take hours is now completed in minutes, but it also has some disadvantages, which sometimes become difficult to overcome. To deal with this, the British government has made a new law. Britain has become the first country to consider it a crime to create ‘objectionable’ pictures of children through AI. The government has recently ordered to implement this law effectively.

Can’t make an objectionable picture

The government clearly said that there should be some limits to the use of AI. Its misuse can create problems for common people. A new law has been made to prevent this. If someone creates ‘objectionable’ pictures of small children or child abuse content with the help of AI, he can be punished with up to 5 years of imprisonment. In the new law, using software to create erotic pictures of children has also been considered a crime.

Keeping a pedophile manual is also a crime

It will also be illegal in the UK to possess an artificial intelligence ‘paedophile manual’ that teaches people how to use AI to sexually abuse children. This could lead to a prison sentence of up to three years.

According to media reports, government minister Yvette Cooper said on Sunday that this is a really disturbing incident. Online child sexual abuse content is increasing, along with the process of grooming teenagers online, which is disturbing.

Banning of AI models is also included

He said that AI software makes it easy for criminals to create child abuse images of children. This means that such people are manipulating the images of children and then with the help of this, young people are being attracted to do such work. He said, this is the most heinous crime.

The minister said the new law will include a ban on AI models being used for child abuse. Cooper also said “other countries are not doing this yet, but I hope everyone else will.”

Misuse of AI

The government said AI software is being used to create images of child sex abuse by manipulating real-life photographs of children nude. Cooper said on Sunday that a recent investigation found that around 500,000 children across the UK are victims of child abuse, with some form of such abuse occurring every year. The online aspect of this is a growing part of it.
