UltraGear GX9 Series: Specs

Both the bendable 45GX990A and the non-bending 45GX950A models feature 5,120 x 2160 resolutions, creating a 21:9 native aspect ratio. They are certified for low blue light emissions, reducing eye strain during extended gaming sessions. Their screens are fitted with LG’s proprietary Anti-Glare and Low Reflection coating to make it convenient for gamers to see everything that’s going on, even in bright room settings.

The 45GX990A and 45GX950A are packed with the second generation of LG’s Dual-Mode technology, enabling them to offer personalised aspect ratios (21:9 or 16:9) and multiple (39, 34 or 27-inch) image sizes, with one-touch switching between eight different screen resolution and refresh rate combination presets. With this feature, adapting the monitor’s output to different game genres as well as room configurations will be simpler. So, for instance, while the new monitors will offer a native 165Hz refresh rate at the screens’ maximum 5120×2160 resolution, they can also switch to a refresh rate of 330Hz if you lower the resolution to 2560×1080.

Both monitors support a 0.03ms GtG response time, and their high brightness OLED screens are rated to True Black 400 by VESA’s DisplayHDR certification standard. Connectivity on them includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 options, with support for the AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVidia G-Sync variable refresh rate systems. Available audio features now include DTS Headphone:X.
