Xiaomi 15 Ultra is one of the most eagerly awaited phones presently. It is set to arrive as the top-of-the-line model in Xiaomi 15 flagship series.
The smartphone is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite as a successor to Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Launch details
Xiaomi 15 Ultra will reportedly be rolled out soon after the Chinese Spring Festival (29 January to 12 February). It will be launched not just in China but in global markets simultaneously.
The company is likely to participate globally during MWC 2025 which will start in Barcelona from March 3.
How Xiaomi 15 Ultra will look like
As the launch of Xiaomi 15 Ultra is highly anticipated, a hands-on leak of the upcoming phone has surfaced online.
While there are significant changes, the makers have maintained the Ultra series’ iconic oversized camera island. The sensors, LED flash array, and Leica branding all occupy new spots.

The camera island has a red ring around it, and this black colorway has a textured glass finish which may or may not sparkle when light hits it.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: What to expect
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.73-inch AMOLED display that features a micro-quad-curved design. It will offer a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The device is expected to arrive with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is likely to run on HyperOS 2-based Android 15, with the company’s HyperOS skin.
The handset is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and pack a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
It is also said to have an IP68+IP69 rated build for dust and water resistance.
