Beolab 90 Speaker Finishes – Bang & Olufsen is widely known for its high-end audio products, combining premium sound quality with distinctive design and a strong focus on sustainability. The brand has now revealed two new finishes for its flagship Beolab 90 speaker, offering sharply contrasting visual styles.

These latest finishes represent two very different design approaches, catering to contrasting aesthetic preferences.

Beolab 90 Speaker Finishes – Phantom Edition Features a Minimalist Black Design

The Phantom edition presents a monochromatic black finish that emphasizes a clean and understated appearance. Despite the speaker’s large and complex structure, this version maintains a refined and modern look.

A translucent black PVD metal mesh is layered over a unified aluminium framework that forms a single, continuous structure. Carbon fibre accents are also included, highlighting lightweight strength and adding a subtle motorsport-inspired character to the design.

Beolab 90 Speaker Finishes – Mirage Edition Showcases Bold Colour Gradients

In contrast, the Mirage edition adopts a much more expressive visual identity. Gradients of blue and pink, described as sapphire and magenta, extend across every panel and structural element of the speaker.

The panels are wrapped in iridescent fabric, while anodized aluminium framing reflects the same colour palette. The result is a striking use of colour that stands out strongly, particularly in minimal interior settings. When displayed as a pair, the contrasting tones create a dramatic visual effect.

Beolab 90 Speaker Finishes – Part of a Limited Edition Anniversary Collection

These two finishes follow the previously released Titan edition and represent the second and third entries in a series of five limited edition Beolab 90 pairs. The collection has been created to commemorate Bang & Olufsen’s 100-year history.

Each finish will be produced in a limited run of just ten pairs and will include a certificate of authenticity to verify its limited edition status.

Beolab 90 Speaker Finishes – Pricing Yet to Be Announced

Pricing details for the new finishes have not been confirmed. However, the standard Beolab 90 model is priced at £141,000 / €167,200 / US$211,800 (approx. AU$283,500) per pair.

Given the limited production numbers and bespoke finishes, the new editions are expected to command a significantly higher price point.
