Musk Bangladesh Invite: Provide Starlink satellite internet; Bangladeshi government appeals to American billionaire

Chief Adviser to Bangladesh’s interim government Muhammad Yunus has invited billionaire American businessman Elon Musk to visit Bangladesh. He wrote a letter to Musk, the top US businessman and SpaceX CEO, to launch Starlink satellite internet service in the country. In a letter dated February 19, Yunus told Musk that his visit to Bangladesh will give him an opportunity to meet young Bangladeshi men and women who will be among the main beneficiaries of this pioneering technology.

Transformational impact of Starlink connectivity

He called on Musk to work together to realize their mutual vision for a better future. “Starlink’s connectivity to Bangladesh’s infrastructure will have a transformational impact. It will particularly benefit Bangladesh’s entrepreneurial youth, rural and vulnerable women, and remote and disadvantaged communities,” state-run news agency BSS reported on Sunday.
