After the launch of ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro, Asus ROG Phone 9 FE is said to be in the works. The alleged renders and specifications of the ROG Phone 9 Fan Edition have surfaced online.
The FE variant resembles other models from the lineup in terms of looks. While nothing is official yet, the purported ROG Phone 9 FE is said to run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB of RAM. It could pack a 5,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Going by the leaked images, the ROG Phone 9 FE looks to have the same camera module as that of other models from the series. On the rear, it seems to feature a triple rear camera setup alongside an LED flash. It appears to have a flat display with a hole punch cutout in the centre. The phone has been spotted in a ‘Phantom Black’ shade with a textured back panel.
It has the signature ROG logo at the back. Like the flagship series, this FE model also comes with AirTrigger controls aimed to give a console-like gaming experience. The phone is slightly lighter than other ROG Phone 9 models, weighing 225g. It also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance like the flagship lineup.
Asus ROG Phone 9 FE: Expected Features
The Asus ROG Phone 9 FE is expected to run on Android 15 with ROG UI and sport a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Samsung Flexible AMOLED LTPO display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and 2,500nits peak brightness. The display could deliver 1,600nits brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and come with a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The phone is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 730 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.
