The POCO F7 series has become a talking in the smartphone world in the last few days following multiple certifications in recent times. 

The lineup is touted to include the vanilla POCO F7, F7 Pro and F7 Ultra and come as a successor to the POCO F6 models. 

In the latest development, the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra appeared on Indonesian Telecom certification site hinting at their imminent launch in the south-east Asian country. 

The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra are now listed on the Indonesia Telecom certification website, bearing the model numbers 24117RK2CG and 24122RKC7G, respectively. The ‘G’ suffix in the model number could refer to the global variant of the devices.

Poco F7 Series: What to expect

The specifications of the purported Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra are not known yet. However reports claim that the Poco F7 Pro is expected to debut as a rebranded Redmi K80, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Poco F7 Ultra is said to be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Poco F7 Pro is expected to sport a 6.67-inch OLED 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a dual rear camera unit led by the 50-megapixel main sensor. The model is likely to be offered with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It could pack a 6,550mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

It could ship with HyperOS 2.0, and 90W fast charging support. Connectivity options may include 5G NR, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.4.

On the other hand, the Poco F7 Ultra is speculated to come with a 6.67-inch OLED 2K display, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, a 20-megapixel selfie shooter and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The FCC listing suggest the phone would come in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. It is expected to run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 custom skin. Connectivity options mentioned include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth BR/EDR/LE, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7.

The Redmi K80 series has been available in China since November last year with a starting price tag of CNY 2,499 .
