How To Remove Unwanted Samsung Apps From Your Phone

Samsung is a leading smartphone brand, with 1.033 billion users worldwide in 2023. While their phones offer long battery life, great cameras, and solid software, they come with many pre-installed apps. Some of these apps aren’t very useful and can take up storage space. Fortunately, Samsung makes it easy to delete most unwanted apps.
We’ve put together a guide to show you how to remove Samsung apps and get rid of bloatware for a cleaner phone experience. Here’s what you need to know before deleting apps.
You can delete most pre-installed apps on your Samsung device, but some essential ones can’t be fully removed. You can only deactivate these apps. Deactivating an app doesn’t delete it, but it removes it from the app’s screen. It also stops the app from running in the background and prevents it from receiving updates.
