Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has been in the news for its slim and edgy design which sets it apart from its usual lineup of Galaxy S25 smartphones. While Samsung gave a glimpse of the smartphone at its Galaxy S25 series launch event, the smartphone maker has not confirmed its launch date. However, it is likely to debut in April.
Ahead of its imminent launch, several leaks and rumours have hinted on the features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Now, its battery capacity has been revealed.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Battery Details
According to a post on Weibo by Ice Universe, Samsung’s much-anticipated smartphone will pack a 3,900mAh battery. This means it will be the smallest battery offered in the current Galaxy S25 series. For context, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 sports a 4,000mAh battery.
According to earlier reports, the model will get 25W wired charging, which is thankfully on par with the Galaxy S25.The device will likely ship without a charger in the box, like the other handsets in the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Expected Features
The Galaxy S25 Edge will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, similar to the other S25 devices. It will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
As per the company’s teaser, Galaxy S25 Edge will pack a dual rear camera setup. It is expected to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The phone will run on Android 15-based One UI 7.
The device is expected to be the slimmest of all the smartphones in the S25 series with just 6.4mm of thickness.
