ChatGPT Plus to Be Free for Select Users Till End of May, Special Access for Students Too
OpenAI has announced a special offer under which selected users will get free access to ChatGPT Plus. This subscription, which usually costs around $20 (approximately ₹1,700) per month, will now be available at no cost for a few people, until the end of May.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared on X (formerly Twitter) that students in the US and Canada can also get free access to ChatGPT Plus. But for this, the student must be enrolled in a valid degree-granting institute. The company requires users to confirm their student status using SheerID’s secure verification system.
Students who already pay for the ChatGPT Plus will also get two months extra at zero cost.
