The option of comment topics has been added to YouTube to increase user engagement in discussions. The topics summarization function enabled by AI operates simply. To locate related keywords, it runs through all of the published comments. It then creates a title for each topic and groups the most talked-about terms into distinct parts.

These topics are visible on the mobile app for long-format videos once the user submits a comment. Clicking on the various marked topics on the new ‘Topics’ tab that appears at the top of the section displays them. Every topic displays all of the relevant comments, making it simple for people to find and join engaging discussions.
