Apple’s Powerbeats Pro 2: Launch Details And Price In US

Apple’s Powerbeats Pro 2 is expected to launch next week. Apple is preparing to launch the next iteration of Powerbeats Pro succeeding the first generation model that debuted in 2019. 

The upcoming headset from Apple is expected to ship with an upgraded processor and new fitness tracking features. It is also said to feature an updated USB Type-C port, in line with the European Union’s common charger regulations that came into effect at the end of 2024.

Powerbeats Pro 2: Expected Features

Reports suggest that the earpieces will pack the same H2 chip that was introduced with the second-generation AirPods Pro 2. This means that the TWS headset could offer improved audio quality, longer battery life, and support for Google’s Find My Device network. The company is also expected to equip the device with a USB Type-C port, like other recent devices launched by the company.

Powerbeats Pro 2 is rumoured to be equipped with a fitness tracking feature that was previously limited to the company’s Apple Watch models — heart rate monitoring. Users should be able to see heart rate information collected from the Powerbeats Pro 2 in the Apple Health application.

The earbuds appears to sport a slimmer, more vertical design than the 2019 version.

Powerbeats Pro 2: Expected Launch Date and Pricing

Apple will unveil the headsets on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. They are said to come with a price tag of $250 in the United States. 

The Powerbeats Pro 2 will be available in four color options, including Electric Orange, Jet Black, Quick Sand, and Hyper Purple. 

These features were confirmed by Journalist Mark Gurman and align with earlier reports.

Apple has yet to officially announce the launch of Powerbeats Pro 2. Last year, Apple confirmed the headset would make its debut in 2025.
