The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold was launched in South Korea on December 12, 2025, once again pushing the boundaries of smartphone design by the company. The device marks Samsung’s boldest experiment in foldable technology, featuring a dual-hinge design and three display panels- a first for the company.

The Galaxy Z TriFold transforms seamlessly from a compact 6.5-inch phone into a 10-inch tablet. The cover display features 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the primary display features a 10-inch QXGA (2160 x 1584 pixels), also at 120Hz, offering a stunning visual experience with 269 ppi.
This tri-panel setup allows users to enjoy multi-window layouts and three-column desktop-style multitasking, making the TriFold a productivity powerhouse. Whether browsing, streaming, or working on multiple apps at once, the device adapts effortlessly to different usage scenarios.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (Octa-core), with 16GB RAM and storage options of 512GB or 1TB. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with OneUI 8 Operating System.
For optics, the Z TriFold houses triple camera in the rear: 200MP (wide) + 12MP (ultra-wide) + 10MP (telephoto), For video calls and selfies, it features 10MP + 10MP front dual camera unit.
Under the hood, the device is backed by a 5,600mAh three-cell battery, the TriFold provides more endurance than its predecessors, complemented by 45W fast charging and wireless charging support. Despite concerns about the power demands of its 10-inch display, the battery capacity ensures that heavy usage remains manageable.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold measures 159.2 x 75.0 x 12.9mm when folded and 159.2 x 214.1 x 3.9mm when unfolded, weighing 309 grams. It has an IP48 rating which ensures protection against dust and water.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, 4G, and 5G, and the phone features a suite of sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer, proximity, and fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold: Price And Availability
Samsung launched the TriFold with limited quantities in South Korea, selling out online within five minutes, while in-store stocks were snapped up immediately.
The device is priced at 3,594,000 KRW (~$2,450), making it a premium, niche product targeted at tech enthusiasts and professionals rather than the mass market.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is available in Crafted Black colour shade.
Global availability will roll out gradually, starting with China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the U.S. (expected Q1 2026).
