Western Digital launched 26TB WD Red Pro HDDs with an affordable price
Western Digital has launched a new 26TB WD Red Pro hard disk drive (HDD), which is designed for Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) systems. This HDD is offered at a surprisingly low price, making it an important option for users who need large storage. Many companies believe that the era of hard disk drives is coming to an end, but major manufacturers like Western Digital oppose this. In February 2025 WD shared plans to introduce drives with a capacity of over 100TB in the future and now they have introduced an affordable 26TB model to the market.
26TB WD Red Pro HDD With Optimized Design for NAS Storage

The 26TB WD Red Pro HDD is designed to meet the growing storage needs of NAS Storage and it offers superior performance, scalability and reliability in multi-bay RAID-optimized systems. The NAS HDD is priced at $569.99, same as the WD Gold Enterprise Class model of the same capacity. This price makes it an affordable and attractive option for users who need to store large amounts of data.
